Dating Website Profiles: Know The Basics

This is the backbone of your success with online dating and you're selling yourself short if you just churn it out, put it up, and leave it at that. Your profile should be an extension of you. It should be a reflection of your philosophies, your tastes in all things cultural, your sense of humor, your style, who you are, and what you're looking for. It has to have ENERGY, ENERGY, ENERGY! Be open, be honest, be cocky, yet funny. Show some attitude and swagger. show some heart. Show that you're human and genuine. See below

I've spent two years editing it.

My online profile has had a lot of success where I've placed it because I've spent two years editing it. It's had many revisions and every few weeks I change a line or two. In this way, writing a profile is a lot like writing a poem, a book, or a short story: It's never finished. There's always room for improvement, and you should seek it out. There's always a little bit more, or a little bit less to say about yourself. You cannot afford for your profile to look like everyone else. Read men's profiles, and find out what clichés are used and then avoid them.

Profile Clichés

These are not always written exactly the same as I will show you, but I see them all the time in one variety or another. Avoid them:

"I'm often shy at first but I'm very warm and friendly once you get to know me."

"I'm the most funny/interesting/weird/quirky person you'll ever meet!"

"I'm not very good at writing about myself" or "I'm never sure what to write for these things..."

"If you want to know anything more, just ask!" (Never. They will never follow up and ask. They have no incentive to. You tell them about yourself then and there, soldier.)

Do NOT be negative about the women you meet in your day to day life.

DO NOT be whiny and say "I'm using this site because all the women I meet in club suck." Do NOT be negative about the women you meet in your day to day life. A girl is more likely to assume the problem lies with you rather than the rest of the world. But don't forget, YOU ARE QUALIFYING THEM!

You can use the same profile on a variety of websites, so make it the best profile there is.

I recommend leaving an instant message screen name in your profile. A lot of people prefer to make first contact this way.

You're not online because you're desperate

...online dating sites and personals are often used as a crutch for the desperate man with no social skills. Remember: YOU ARE NOT THIS GUY! If you do not express this somehow in your profile, it will simply be assumed. You're not online because you're desperate, you're online because you're looking for someone with a distinct personality (which I am, personally) and possibly because you are a busy man who needs a more “streamlined” way to meet and qualify women. You're looking for someone with the right kind of energy. You're looking for someone who's tired of the club scene. You're online because you haven't met what you're looking for in real life, not because no one else would have you.

Did you know that most of the communication that goes on between two people is non-verbal?

It's true! Most men don't even know it, and even more of us don't notice even the most basic nonverbal signals that women send out. But regardless of how oblivious you may be, body language still affects your life in a major way on a daily basis. During a typical conversation, the body language of the individuals talking can tell you everything you need to know about their interaction even if you can't hear what they are saying. That makes it very powerful when harnessed by someone who has mastered the art of reading body language.

People are constantly using their bodies to send signals...

People are constantly using their bodies to send signals to each other on a subconscious level, so body language is something that you can always rely on to assist you when it comes to seducing women. It is a tool that will always be there at your disposal regardless of any woman that you are gaming. This is because the vast majority of body language signals are done automatically (like breathing) below the normal level of conscious thought, so all women are basically forced to give off these signals that you can pick up on. Even if they didn't intend to send information through their body language, they can't help it unless they make a conscious effort to resist their natural behavior, which is extremely rare since it requires the woman to have in-depth knowledge of controlling her own body language.

The trick to using body language for seduction purposes.

The trick to using body language for seduction purposes is to gain the ability to purposely pick up on and identify the signals that women send out subconsciously, then use those body language signals to gather information that you can use. The most basic example of this would be to read a woman's body language to determine whether or not she is into you, and then altering your game accordingly until her body language changes to a more positive nature. That is just the tip of the iceberg though, you can also use body language to collect much more valuable and targeted information, which we will soon discuss in full detail further down – to be very rich continued on pages of this special dating blog.

Know The Right Time To Talk and The Right Time To Listen

The thrill of dating can sometimes end up in a “not so good situation” and this is a part of it wherein you will experience ending up on a good date or not. Finding yourself in the company of someone who can make you have a good laugh, a person that looks at the world in a manner that everything is appreciated (even you) and someone who understands how to help you feel good is a feeling that can’t be bought. On the other hand, it is rare that this could happen naturally on the first date.

If you are planning to have a technique where dating is involved, what is important is to make certain that you simply tend not to get yourself look either egotistic or insolent. Being an interesting company takes a nicely balanced course of action.

The true secret to this particular method is understanding when to talk and when to listen –

or as some might say, when to talk and when to stop talking. You have to get the balance right. Staying silent all of the time can certainly make your date wonder what’s wrong to you – or what is wrong with him/her. In this case, it could bring a date to a remorseful end. Converse about yourself, but try not to consider it wise to discuss every piece of information about yourself. “I like to check out the movies every couple of week – talk politely and interestingly. “When I was at the age of seven, I locked my sister inside the garage area for six hours” is not a really good idea to tell o your date. Measure out their reaction and pay attention to the things they have to express too. Don’t get driven into the feeling that the sole reason for being attentive is to impress the person you are talking or dating with. A regular flow of discussion is an excellent manifestation of an excellent date.

Don’t Give Up Easily – Just Keep Trying

Whatever technique of dating you attempt, there’s always the risk that your efforts will be marked more by letdowns than by success. It is hard never to be frustrated at this, and there is little effect even if that anybody attempts to help it become feel less painful for you. As much as these pieces of help and advice sound like cliché, the truth is that very often the problem is not found within you but sometimes the timing is not right. However, provided that you stay true to yourself, you will encounter people who will find you appealing. That is why you have keep faith and never give up since there is always hope for you.

If a date goes completely wrong and you did not “hit it off”, it is not because you have the flaws within you. However, if two people to meet and get along right away can be quite rare. That is why you should all put up a kind of “barrier” so that you will not end up getting another bad relationship.Well, this is your line of defense to avoid being heartborken again. Consequently, you also need to take chances even if you have the “barrier” because of your previous failures. The main reason to this is you might end up having the right person in front of you all along.

Hence, you should always try and try until you fins the person that will surely make you happy for life. Remember, there is always hops for everybody and this is a chance you should hold on to. The best of luck to you!
